On-site events for daycares and preschools
For center directors who want a special day for their children without a field trip, a bus or a stack of permission slips.
Taking a room of young children off site is a project. Bringing the event to your center is not. Big Idea Entertainment plans on-site events for daycares and preschools, with activities from our family of brands that set up on your playground or in your largest room.
Every event is delivered by an operator in our family, whose staff run each activity while your teachers stay with their classes. Which activities are available depends on your city and date.
Most centers plan around the calendar they already keep: an end-of-year celebration, a summer special day, a fall festival or a family night. Tell us the occasion and how many classes take part.
What we bring
Giant bubbles from Big Idea Bubbles: a hosted hour of giant tri-string bubbles and shaped wands. Foam from Foam Palooza, for ages 3 and up. Snow from Big Idea Blizzard, also for ages 3 and up. Carnival games from Backyard Carnival, with staff who run every booth. Which activities are available depends on your city and date, and is confirmed with your quote.
Sample package: class-by-class bubble morning

What ages are the activities for?
Each activity has its own age guidance. Foam Palooza and Big Idea Blizzard are for ages 3 and up. Tell us the ages in each room, and the quote confirms which activities suit them.
Do our teachers need to run anything?
No. The operator's staff run each activity, and your teachers stay with their classes. A snow festival asks for two volunteers from your team.
How much room does it need?
It is set per activity. A snow festival needs a 25 x 25 ft flat area, grass or pavement, and 2 standard outlets. A carnival needs a 30x30 space and a power outlet.
Can it fit into a morning?
Yes. Activities book by the hour, so a morning slot works, timed around snack, nap and pickup.
