Who we are
This website is operated by Big Idea Licensing, LLC (Big Idea Entertainment), based in Kennesaw, Georgia. Events in the Big Idea Entertainment family are delivered by independent local operators, each serving its own area. This policy covers bigideaentertainment.com. Our activity brand websites have their own privacy policies.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send an event inquiry, email us or book a call, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, phone number, organization, event date and time, event type, expected guest count, city, venue and any notes you include.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners collect information such as pages viewed, links clicked, the site that referred you, approximate location based on IP address, device and browser type, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry, check availability and plan your event.
- To send you a confirmation of your request and follow-up about your event.
- To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
- To protect the site against spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Our events team and the operator serving your area. Your inquiry goes to our events team. To plan and deliver your event, we share it with the independent operator in the Big Idea Entertainment family that serves the location you choose. That operator uses your information to handle your event and may contact you directly.
If you tell us you are interested in working at events, we may share your details with the operator in our family that serves your area.
Service providers. We use companies that help us run the site and respond to you, including website hosting and content management, Google Workspace for email, Pipedrive for scheduling calls and meetings with our events team, and an email marketing provider if you have joined our email list. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Analytics and advertising partners. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand site use, and the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you submit an inquiry, contact details such as your email address and phone number may be shared with Meta in hashed (scrambled) form so Meta can match the inquiry to ad activity. Google and Meta handle this information under their own privacy policies.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies and your choices
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Manage how Meta uses information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any email.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information as long as we need it to respond, deliver and follow up on events, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your requests
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing events@bigideaentertainment.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
