Big Idea Entertainment

Summer camp entertainment for the week's big special-event day

For camp directors planning the day campers talk about all week, brought to your site instead of a bus ride away.

A summer camp group throws their arms up in foam behind a banner, two counselors cheering

Camp directors fill a whole summer of programming, and every week needs a day that stands out. Big Idea Entertainment brings activities from our family of brands to your camp, so the special event happens where your campers already are.

Every event is delivered by an operator in our family, and the operator's staff run each activity while your counselors keep their groups together. Which activities are available depends on your city and date.

This page is for camp directors and program staff booking for a group of campers. Tell us your camp size, your age groups and the week you have in mind.

What we bring

Foam from Foam Palooza. Gellyball from Gellyball Adventures and Gellyball Legends: a team game run by a Game Master, with non-toxic, biodegradable ammo, and camps can add gear kits or rotate groups through. Carnival games from Backyard Carnival. Giant bubbles from Big Idea Bubbles. Portable mini golf from Mini Golf Anywhere. Snow from Big Idea Blizzard in its Christmas in July season. Which activities are available depends on your city and date, and is confirmed with your quote.

Sample package: rotating special-event day

Two activities running side by side, with camp groups rotating between them on a set schedule so every group gets a turn at each. Described here without a price; priced with your quote.

Occasion guides

Single-activity pages

Mini Golf Anywhere and Gellyball Adventures each fold camps into their field-day pages.

Not a camp?

How do you handle a large camp?

Groups rotate. A gellyball package includes gear for 10 players; extra kits put more players on the field at once, groups can rotate through, or both. Other activities run on the same rotation schedule.

What ages can take part?

Each activity has its own guidance: Foam Palooza and Big Idea Blizzard are for ages 3 and up, and gellyball is for ages 5 and up. Tell us your age groups and the plan sorts who goes where.

Does gellyball hurt?

No. It is low impact. You can feel a hit, about like a rubber band snap, but players 5 and up should not get hurt.

When should camps book?

As soon as your summer calendar is set. Send your weeks, and our events team confirms availability within one business day.
